Two PDP Leaders Who Have Opposed El-Rufai Over His Support For Tinubu

It is no longer breaking news that certain PDP chieftains have taken issue with Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna state, for supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate.
Attairu Bafarawa, a former governor of Sokoto state, is one of the PDP figures that has disagreed with El-Rufai over his backing of Tinubu's bid for the presidency.
According to Daily Trust, Bafarawa reprimanded Governor El-Rufai for asserting that northerners have supported Tinubu's bid for president.
The previous governor informed the populace that all political parties will support their preferred presidential candidates.

When Bafarawa was granted an interview with the BBC last week, he made this clear. He continued by saying that everyone has the right to their own views, just like El-Rufai does.
El-assertion Rufai's that Tinubu must prevail in the upcoming presidential election was disputed by Bafarawa. He argued with the governor that he couldn't force Tinubu on the people in the north.

It should be remembered that Governor El-Rufai previously declared that certain cabals are opposed to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC candidate, and his bid for the presidency.

El-Rufai blamed the Nigerian Central Bank CBN for the poorly executed redesign of the naira. He added that the ineffective execution was done to thwart Tinubu's bid for president.
Tony Ehilebo, the party's director of digital media, is a second PDP official who has disagreed with El-Rufai over his backing of Tinubu's bid for the presidency.
Daily Trust further said that Ehilebo refuted El-assertion Rufai's that certain political cabals are opposed to Tinubu's bid for the presidency.
He added that if Tinubu wins the upcoming presidential election, Governor El-Rufai also intends to join the cabals.

Ehilebo claimed that his party was approaching the world community to report individuals like Governor Nasir El-Rufai who, in his opinion, is doing everything in his power to stifle the country's democratic process.
